If you have already taken courses, or modules, in another institution and now wish to obtain a diploma from the Alternative Medicine College of Canada, choose our Equivalence Program. A list of available equivalences is given below.

You may also request a course equivalence (maximum of 3 courses).

Equivalence Request

To request a diploma equivalence, you must have taken all of the courses and obtained an equivalent number of credits (or hours) as the College's required number of credits in the chosen field. The College allows you to take the missing courses, as long as these do not represent more than about 30% of the courses in the chosen program.

For the Equivalence Request, you must fill in the appropriate form, supplied by the College, cover the administration fees, make a first payment and send supporting  documentation with your request.

Registration Procedure

• Please state the title (and number) of the diploma.
• Download the Equivalence Request Form.
• Consult the course descriptions by clicking on the program/module of your choice and verify that you actually have an equivalent for each course, and if you are missing any courses.
• Go to the Online Registration Request Form and choose one of the equivalences.
• Fill in the requested information on both forms (Online Registration Request Form and Equivalence Request Form)
• Compose a hand-written letter stating your professional or scholastic journey and your projects or objectives.
• Gather your documents and mail everything to the address on the form.
• Contact the College if needed, by phone or email.

Exemptions

You can request and obtain an exam exemption for one or more courses taken in another institution:

• You can receive the course material anyways, but are under no obligation to take the exam.
• Or you do not wish to receive the course materials and can get a reduction in the program's price, equivalent to the price of the exempted courses.

For course exemption requests (three courses maximum), you must fill the Admission Form, send all supporting documents and pay the administrative fees for the exemption request.
