This course, #820 "Clinical Case Studies", is offered through distance learning.

Course Description

This course is focused on how to apply the knowledge acquired in the Natural Health Practitioner Program. More specifically, the student must develop the necessary skills for clinical consultation practice through the elaboration of client files according to three themes: 1. General State & Vital Hygiene 2. Health Education 3. Nutrition The Clinical Case Studies aim at developing the therapist.s knowledge at three levels: 1. Information seeking, i.e. gathering all the information obtainable from the client and / or through observation. 2. Client files management, i.e. classifying the information gathered, questionnaires, file summaries, follow-ups 3. The treatments and recommendations classified according to the theme(s) covered in the chapter, health education, hygiene, and nutrition.

    • The exam consists in compiling three \"Clinical Case Studies\" client files. The first will focus on the General state, the second on Health Education and the third will focus on Nutrition. The \"follow-up\" section for each case must include recommendations or treatment considering Health Education, Nutrition and General State.
