In addition to the naturopathy, homeopathy or bioenergetics program, the first-level Doctorate curriculum develops clinical expertise.This program is also available for active practitioners wanting a first-level doctorate.  To register to this distance education program, you must have completed a Naturopathy, Homeopathy or Bioenergetics certification or have obtained an equivalence from the AMCC.

Note

The certification will be delivered after presentation of a one-year active practice confirmation.

The first-level doctorate program offered by the AMCC is not a university-level doctorate program as considered by the Act respecting educational institutions at the university level (in Quebec).

Doctorate-Specific Objectives

• Elevating One's Practice
  

  In addition to clinical case studies, veritable hand-ons exams, the curriculum constitutes practical and concrete coaching. The Client-Practitioner Relationship course allows the practitioner to identify specific profiles and is essential given the educational components involved which must take into account affinities, personalities, needs, and capacity for personal investment of each individual. The Developing a Professional Practice course focuses on legal considerations, office management, and includes aspects of marketing and how to generate income.

  Internship, which must be completed under the supervision of an active practitioner, completes the curriculum.
  

• Pursuing a Topic of Interest
  

  The Doctorate program allows an in-depth investigation of a topic of predilection, which can even become a professional orientation. The thesis paper offers the student the opportunity to reflect, conceptualize and apply. It is as much a theoretical as a practical exercise allowing individual expression.
