Courses - Efficiency Requirements
At the crossroad of European and North-American cultures, the Alternative Medicine College of Canada offers you an open approach, devoid of sectarianism and debate so that you can dispose of a rich cultural base as well as tried and true knowledge. Each course is a structured set designed to ensure progressive integration of knowledge.
Course StructureEach course is comprised of an introduction positioning the field and its specific problems. Each chapiter then covers a given problem with regards to a specific therapy, including technical and practical dimensions. The contents cannot by any stretch claim to be exhaustive, but rather fosters reflection and allows you to explore further. A list of resources is provided (documents, documentaries, links, etc.) as well as appendices regrouping didactic materials and documents, to help you along and round out the materials. To get a better idea of the structure and contents of the courses, take a peek at a detailed summary of each one.
Writing and UpdatingThe teaching staff sees to the writing and updating of course materials, or we ask professionals, specialists in their field. Any given course can therefore have contributions from various persons, which ensures a complementarity in the approach. The College remains ever vigilant at the evolution in the field, and to the issues encountered by students and updates the contents of courses as soon as it is deem necessary and useful.
Assignments and Knowledge AssessmentAssignments at the end of the chapiters are designed for self-assessment of the knowledge acquired, because at the College, you are assumed responsible and motivated, able to invest yourself according to your ambitions. For those seeking professional recognition, these assignments act as a sort of continuous assessment that contributes to the final grade. |
