Orthomolecular Approaches [Course 445]
This goal of this course is equip students with knowledge of the orthomolecular approach, which involves an understanding of amino acids, fatty acids, antioxidants, bioflavonoids and enzymes along with their biochemical roles, dosages, contraindications and food sources. It also addresses other specific supplements, such as glucosamine, MSM, chondroitin, HA, SAM-e, co-enzyme Q10, ALA, EGCG, CLA, HCA, 5-HTP and NO inhibitors, to allow students to associate pathologies with specific deficiencies.
